OSCE Experts in the editorial office of the Chas

Four European specialists - Mr Boris Frlets, Mr Steven Nash, Mr Jonathan Stonestreet and Mr Andreas Baker - were interested in the position of the newspaper in the forecoming elections to the Seima, as well as the view of the Chief Editor, the candidate to the ministers from the ZaPCHEL Party, on the number of the most important to the Russian community problems - mass absence of citizenship, school reforms, representations in the political power.

Answering to the questions of the experts from Europe, Ms Ksenija Zagorovskaja has underlined the necessity in the nearest time to provide the opportunity for the non-citizens to vote in elections of the local authorities, as well as she has noted the practically complete absence of Russians in the political institutions, which is contradictory to the European norms and is leading to the estrangement of the Russian community from the government.
